Bob Trett

Bob Trett has had a long career in museums.
He was Curator at Chertsey Museum, then at King's Lynn Museum, and was Museum Officer at Newport Museum and Art Gallery until he retired. Since then he has been actively involved in local archaeology and history.
He has been Chairman of the Glamorgan Gwent Archaeological Trust, and Vice Chairman of the Gwent Wildlife Trust.
His current projects include the study of Historic Caerleon and the History of the Newport Mediaeval Ship.
He undertakes tours, talks, and has written many historical and archaeological papers. He has frequently been interviewed on radio and television, including appearing on the BBC series The House Detectives and Timewatch.
